Devang Shah
Devang is a certified yoga therapist and an Ayurvedic panchkarma expert. He is certified from Bihar Yoga Bharati Yoga University in Bihar India in the science of traditional yoga and also graduated into Yogic Science from sVYASA Yoga University – Bangalore with emphasis on Yoga Therapy. He keeps updating himself regularly in fields of Medical Yoga and traditional Yoga by doing various courses at renowned yoga institutes across the country.
His keen interest in health for all through Holistic treatment modalities motivated him to explore many different treatment modalities including Ayurveda and Panchkarma, Yoga Therapy, Naturopathy, Spa Therapeutics & Aesthetics, Massage therapy, Healing therapies etc.
He has completed more than 2000 hrs of extensive training in all different Panchkarma therapies (which also included Classical western style full body massage, traditional Indian and Keralian Massage, Kundalini Massage, Netra Tarpan, Karna pooran, Shirodhara, Shirobasti, various potli therapies etc.) from Dr. Shri Balaji Tambe's Atmasantulana Village in Lonavla.
He now enjoys working with various institutions including Arham Clinic – Ghatkopar – Mumbai, Indian Navy, etc. He also free lances his services for selected clients.
He is part of International Yoga Fellowship and Stop Diabetes Movement in India and a member of various organisation including Jain Doctor's Federation, NAPAR National Association for Panchkarma & Research, Kutchi Medicos etc.
He is a consultant Yoga Therapist at Bombay Hospital’s Parkinson Disease and Movement Disorder Society (PDMDS). He has been serving at K. J. Somaiya Bhartiya Sanskriti Peetham at Vidyavihar Mumbai as Faculty of Yogic Science.
